A Nice Dinner

Sometime back, I had dinner (courtesy of my d) at a Japanese restaurant at LeisurePark. The Shabu Shabu was an interesting experience. As it was not a buffet, one could choose to order from a variety of categories from the menu. The pork and duck were well cut and the original flavour was evident when cooked in the soup base.

The highlight was of course the crab which was fresh and really tasty. Actually from the looks of it, the pot used for Shabu Shabu did not appear to be able to cook the crab in a short period of time but surprisingly it did. In fact, if one would like to try having a cosy Shabu Shabu at home, one could purchase the pot at NTUC for less than $50.

Below is a picture I took of the dinner. The meal was considered reasonable, even at a price of $25 for the crab.
