It was a very special day indeed. Someone significant took half a day to have a day out with me. I was really touched. :)
The day started with me being late (ya..I noe, wat's new rite) but I was still met with a smile and that started the day on a good note. :)
We went to the flyer and it was an interesting experience looking at the barrage from the flyer when not so long ago we were looking at the flyer from the barrage. And of course we got to see the other landmarks as well. We had a fun time as we had the entire cabin to ourselves! It was fun to clown around and it was good to have someone to hold on to (although the cabin was definitely stable) when one is afraid of heights.
We then had an enjoyable 'tea' at one of the cafes and a good walk at the garden. If one has a dollar coin, one could also feed the kois in the pond. Look a bit harder and one would see tortises too! It was a good excusion which included shopping and garden walking and sightseeing.
The highlight of the evening had to be the dinner which was truly exquisite although a tad too dear (v dear in my opinion). We had cod, duck, truffle soup and for gois. O yes, not forgetting the wine! :) It was nice.
The walk round the area was also pleasant and we ended up at east coast for a walk. The present though small was meaningful and will be much treasured. :)
It was really a evening like no other with both of us thoroughly enjoying ourselves and having lots of fun. :) After such a beautiful evening, the roses remain to remind us of the night. It would not have been possible without much effort on someone's part! :)
